Dinettes and Dining Sets
A dinette is a small dining set usually placed in kitchen or dining room. They normally seat 4-6 people and often have a removable leaf. Dinettes are available in a wide selection of styles to suit any decor and budget. Smaller 3 piece dinette sets seating only 2 people are also available and are perfect for very small kitchens or eating areas.
If you have a small dining room selecting a dinette or small dining table will help to make the room larger. Avoid very heavy or overpowering tables. Simple streamlined tables will prevent the room from looking overcrowded. It is also a good idea to use placemats instead of tablecloths and a small centerpiece.
If you have a small dining table or dinette you can still entertain several guests. When entertaining consider using a serving table or wheeled serving cart to ensure that your guests are not crowded. Place all food to be served on the serving table or serving cart. On your table you can place bottle of wine or other drink and candles or small centerpiece.
